Wonderful beach cottage, perfect for a family gathering! This rustic cottage has a spacious living and dining area and generous kitchen. Enjoy the fantastic Pawleys Island beach and ocean view from the open, covered porch or enjoy the serenity of the open deck overlooking the creek.  This cottage also has a private creek dock!

This creek is navigable with jon boats at mid tide or better. At your higher tides, you can take a jon boat to the north end of the island and even into South Litchfield. This is not recommended for boating novices. You must be "tide aware" and get local knowledge to do this. If you don't you run the risk of spending hours waiting on water to rise so you can get home. This company (James W. Smith Real Estate Co.) cannot provide information regarding the navigation of the creeks. Also, the inlets are extremely dangerous to boaters and swimmers alike. Nearing them in any fashion has resulted in many bad situations. Trout and Flounder can be caught in the creeks at mid tide or better.

If you remember "old Pawleys" then you feel at home here. This house was built in 1956, after Hurricane Hazel. This house is not luxury, it's the type of house that the old Pawleys Island bumper stickers "Arrogantly Shabby" were referring to. The house was retrofitted with AC less that 5 years ago.
